Welcome to Cone Elementary!

It is with great excitement that I begin my first year as principal of Cone Elementary after proudly serving the past two years as assistant principal. This school year marks my 16th year with Guilford County Schools, and I am honored to continue serving this amazing community.

At Cone, we are committed to the continued growth and success of every student, building strong partnerships with families, and creating opportunities for community participation. We believe that engaging and joyful learning experiences are essential to helping every child thrive.

Our staff is dedicated to going above and beyond to ensure that your children receive the best academic instruction and social-emotional support possible. We deeply value the unique perspectives, talents, and contributions that parents and families bring to our school, and we welcome you as essential partners in your child’s education.

A little about me—I am a proud graduate of Virginia Tech and North Carolina A&T State University. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two sons, ages 12 and 1. I love to travel and try new restaurants whenever I can!

I look forward to an amazing school year filled with growth, collaboration, and success. Together, we will make this year our best yet!
